So, I have (free) VTube Studio on both my laptop and android device. I wanted to test one of the free models that came with the program for laptop performance and eye tracking/delays.
But other big indie VTubers use Vtube Studio for 2D models, VSeeFace for 3D models. Do note that these programs only work if you already have a model ready. Making your model is a completely different story, and requires different programs depending on whether you're going 2D or 3D.
There are also various motion capture softwares, the most popular being Vtube studio or vseeface. Most of these are free with a paid premium option. Vtube studio was working fine yesterday at 10% cpu and 20% gpu but today vtube studio just spikes to 100% gpu usage on open while face tracking is not even on. From what taskmanager can tell me, just opening vtube studio will cause gpu usage to jump from 5% to 100%.
Ooohoooo. It’s actually quite simple. Add VTube studio to OBS using game capture. Make background transparent through VTube studio. Press Alt while sizing window to make the little mascot go away. You'll have OBS capture the vtube studio window on PC. On your phone you'll want to lower the brightness and use a black background to save battery while using tracking.

In addition to using Spout2 instead of gamecapture.. - Put Vtube Studio as a window instead of fullscreen.
