My DMR guru friends, I am new to DMR operating a TYT-MD/UV 380 on my local repeater and I can’t get parrot audio to work for the life of me. I am in a fringe area on reception some days better than others but I can generally hear full conversations on other talk groups. I key the mic and I hear...
I have the software (licensed) installed on my NX-1300 but have not been able to get the proper settings for DMR to work on Ham UHF band. Anyone with an example code plug or summary of required settings? Thanks, Chris KL4C
If needed, is DMR worth the $75, and what will it provide? - If needed, is NXDM worth the $75 and what will it provide? - If needed, is ProVoice worth the $75 and what will it provide? - As GTR8000 pointed out in post #2, if you plan to get any of the paid upgrades for your scanner, do not pay a dealer $75 to install them at the time of purchase.
Good day, I've worked with decoding DMR using DSDPlus 1.074 , I have got encrypted output (Enc Group call) and information about it such as (Source, ID, Key and algorithm) . I need software that could decrypt the decoded DMR voice. Thank you
I'm still a bit of a noob to configuring DMR radios and learning the ropes. I bought a DM32 specifically because of the airband and 480MHz and to try to keep up with some digital tech. Being able to monitor the local CTAF while using UHF CB 477MHz FM is a really big selling point for hang glider pilots.
DMR is a single modulation scheme that doesn't lend too well to simulcast (but it has been done). P25's trunking signaling is heavily based off of Motorola's Type II format where DMR Tier III's signaling is heavily based off of MPT1327.
I was in Columbia, MO recently with my TRX-2 and peeked at the University of Missouri DMR TRBO system. This is my first foray into DMR trunking and I am needing to understand the relationship of slots, color codes, talk groups and frequency assignment. In this system, a slot/color...
